| Qu 1: | (a) Write out the isomers of C4H10O that are alcohols and name them. |
| (b) Identify them as being primary, secondary or tertiary | |

| Qu 2: | (a) Alcohols react with HBr to give alkyl bromides, whereas there is no reaction with NaBr. Why ? |
| (b) If an alcohol is reacted with NaBr / H2SO4 then the alkyl bromide forms. Why ? |
