Part 6: SYNTHESIS

The schems below gives possible syntheses of the 7 targets. There may well be other variations. The first diagram shows the "retro-synthesis", the red arrows try to show carbon-carbon bond forming reactions and the blue arrows are functional group manipulations. The other diagrams contain the forward synthesis. These are organised to try to show common pathways through common intermediates (eg the Grignard reagents) and with information about the important reactions given in blue.
