LATE LABORATORY REPORTS POLICY

CHEM 351 : WINTER 2024

Generally (unless specifically stated otherwise), laboratory reports are due to the appropriate D2L link by the start of your next scheduled laboratory period and that's usually ONE WEEK AFTER the experiment was carried out. It is your responsibility to make sure that you have submitted the correct report document to the appropriate D2L link by the deadline.

The typlical late policy will be a letter grade per 12 hours that a report is late, however, there is a maximum number of hours a report can be late before feedback is given to another section.

Any report not submitted at the corresponding deadline  will be judged as "LATE” and WILL NOT BE GRADED BY THE TA  if it is going to get more than a 2 letter grade reduction (>24 hours late) unless approved by the Laboratory Coordinator.

ALL late report submissions will need to be reviewed and then approved by the Laboratory Coordinator of the CHEM 351 Laboratory Course who will decide if there are acceptable extenuating circumstances and then grading will occur. IIf you have submitted a late report and would like it graded you will need to reach out to the laboratory coordinator.
