Congratulations !!

  • Tania Pannu, who won 1st place at the Chemistry Undergraduate Research Symposium for her work on 'Hybrid Materials’.

  • Jack Kan and Suresh Mulmi, who received the 2011 Alberta Innovates Technology Future (AIF) Graduate Awards.

  • The Thangadurai group is pleased to announce two graduate students  (PhD / MSc) openings.  The group is looking for applicants with strong interests in synthesis and characterization of hybrid metal oxide and ionic liquid solid electrolytes. The candidates will have to carry out researches in the following areas

  • Fuel Cells

  • Li-ion batteries

  • Gas Sensors

We also welcome  scientists for potential collaborations in the area of solid electrolytes and electrodes. We are developing innovative materials for a wide range of solid state ionic technologies that include solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs), ceramic proton conducting SOFCs, Li ion batteries (all-solid- state and conventional) and gas sensors.

The Thangadurai research group always welcomes motivated and interested students as well as scientists.
